Is global warming real? Absolutely. Does anyone realistically have any clue about what actions we can take to reverse what's already in motion? No. And this is the reason for most opposition to legislation, as well as a lot of the skepticism people have towards experts who claim to know what solutions will work.


You're saying that "climate change believers" often spout incorrect information and therefore some people become unbelievers/non-supports as a result?


Yes, absolutely. If someone speaks on TV as an "expert" and ends up being full of shit, this undercuts the credibility of all the claims. People who don't have a science background think they're being manipulated for political reasons and become skeptics.
