It was 7 years between FO3 and FO4 and that's with New Vegas between them, and 5 years between Oblivion and Skyrim and this year will be 6 since Skyrim. I can easily see them announcing something now. New Vegas wasn't developed by Bethesda. Oblivion to Fallout 3: 2 years. Fallout 3 to Skyrim: 3 years. Skyrim to Fallout 5: 4 years. I expect something on the order of 4 years from Fallout 4 until TES6 at least (2019).
