I'm fine with them never making another TES game, either. I know it's going to be an emphasis on Khajiits and skooma and the bad guys are probably going to be daedric princes just like in Oblivion and it's going to be set in a jungle or something dumb without any biodiversity at all.

I expect a lot of lies if Todd Howard gets on stage.

Microsoft is just going to be some dumb Scorpio shit I bet. Probably announce that they cancelled Sea of Thieves, but all the multiplatform games on Scorpio will be like 10% better.

Why? It was 7 years between FO3 and FO4 and that's with New Vegas between them, and 5 years between Oblivion and Skyrim and this year will be 6 since Skyrim. I can easily see them announcing something now.

I "know" the direction Bethesda's going in and I "know" TES6 is going to be even more of a borefest than Fallout 4.

New Vegas wasn't developed by Bethesda. Oblivion to Fallout 3: 2 years. Fallout 3 to Skyrim: 3 years. Skyrim to Fallout 5: 4 years. I expect something on the order of 4 years from Fallout 4 until TES6 at least (2019). Their development cycles are getting longer and they've said as much.

To know if Forza 7's career mode will still do that "3rd place or better" garbage, and if there's a new Elder Scrolls around the corner

I played Skyrim and I played Fallout 4 and it's not that hard to see which direction Bethesda's going in (especially if you look at basic stuff like the "experience" of the writing staff they used for Fallout 4 or the over-reliance on "radiant" quests, a feature introduced in Skyrim but completely saturated throughout Fallout 4).

What? The writing and dialogue in both Skyrim and Fallout 4 were pretty good. You may not have enjoyed the story itself but the dialogue was top-notch and there is a lot of it. People act like the voiced protagonist killed all dialogue but it didn't. If you actually talk to people you'll see a lot of them have interesting stories to tell.

Radiant Quests are alright, nothing wrong with that and the actual side-quests they write and put in the games are always top-notch. I really don't understand the vitriol. I sometimes wonder if a lot of the people bashing their games actually play them and experience them fully or just rush through the main storyline and cry foul.

You missed out, Nuka World was pretty good. Not Far Harbor good but it was fun.

True but very few times did I actually feel it in FO4. I thought most conversations flowed pretty nicely and had a good mix of things you could say to people, even if most of the choices led to the same conclusion. *Shrug* I just never felt like it was a disaster as some seem to claim. It helped that I think the female voice actor for Nora did a really awesome job.

You're probably right, but I'm still hyped for a potential TES6 or new Fallout. And Fallout 4 was unplayable for me. It's the Bethesda trap.

I'm hoping for Dishonored 2 DLC for sure. If there's nothing on it today, it's likely there won't be any at all.

Also would have been nice if their conference was scheduled earlier. Fuck the west coast. I'm not staying up past midnight just to watch it.
