Even assuming Kirby is at his stated instruction manual height (which I will say doesn't actually make sense till the end of time) Kirby's wingspan lets him cover surfaces over a foot if he's exploiting his flippiness to maximum. The question is how nonsensically the controls are laid out.

If you assume Smash representation of Kirby's height is more accurate he's covering several feet.
