I don't think it's homing. I think it's aimed. But if the target is moving at the time, it doesn't automatically adjust (obviously the jumpers can adjust themselves if they have the reflexes/skills).

Yeah I should clarify that when I say 'homing' I mean that it corrects itself to whatever Celes' location is at the 30 sec mark - not that mercs will change trajectory in midair if she moves.

I was more envisioning like a sort of X strike (asterisk strike given it's three mercs?) from above, moreso than 'we all belly flop onto Celes, rip', fwiw.
