What makes it so invulnerable that Id of all people can't break it? In the end it is still a sword made of conventional materials and despite it's HF treatment, it is still exactly that. It's not got any super technowizard bullshitium upgrades or materials, it's not made of super nanofiber materials, it's not magical and it's certainly not possessed by the spirit of solid snake.
