Today I want to talk with you all about a little game called Furi. It's the story of a man known as The Stranger, who battles his way through an extremely elaborate multilayered series of prison islands in low earth orbit in an attempt to return to the surface and escape his captivity. Except...things aren't quite so simple. As you find out throughout the game, The Stranger is not a man but an alien scout, and most of his enemies aren't sadistic monsters - they're heroes, defenders, and well-meaning people, trying to keep Earth from being annihilated the hands of you and the alien forces he represents. There's more to it, but it doesn't concern us here. What concerns us what The Stranger can do. Let's hop to it. The first thing that needs to be discussed is just how dangerous the Stranger is in melee combat, his specialty. He's equipped with a graphene composite saber - a material that exists in our world, and is a hundred times stronger than steel. It can slice through just about anything like it's not even there - which is why he can manage to hurt the bosses that stand in his way, the Jailers, as all of them, to a man, are cyborgs, wearing power armor, or otherwise protected. It also conducts heat and electricity so well that it crackles with power constantly, and when charged, it can decimate the HP of the bosses with single blows.

That's not all he can do, however - he's also equipped with a laser rifle capable of rapidfire shots, so powerful that they can erase enemy energy bursts. The shots can also be charged for a great impact, if the Stranger feels like he needs to bide his time and wait.

As far as speed goes, the Stranger excels at that, too. One of the jailers, The Line, can partially stop time. The Stranger manages to defeat him in spite of that, and when scanned by another one of his enemies, The Burst, it's revealed that his normal running speed is 73 km/h (that's a sustained speed about twice that of Usain Bolt's best or so, IIRC). On top of that, he can repeatedly teleport short distances, moving much quicker than his usual speed - this is something he repeatedly abuses in his fights, as several enemies' attacks (such as The Strap's, who can unleash laser beams as wide as multiple men standing next to each other and several men tall as well) cannot be dodged otherwise. A good showcase of his speed can be seen here as he takes on the final jailer, The Beat, who cannot fight him head-on and resorts to automated defenses and a humongous beam cannon to try and kill him. Predictably, she fails.

Lastly, there's the matter of his durability. The Stranger is tanky. He possesses massive regenerative capabilities, resurrecting from death repeatedly no matter how many times The Chain, his first jailer, kills him while he's caught in a torture device. While he cannot do that here for the sake of fairness, he does retain his combat regeneration, which heals him every time he parries a strike for a solid chunk of his health. You can also see how, after being knocked down, he's stabbed with a laser scythe by The Strap here, and still gets up to continue the fight like he doesn't give a damn. (It's like 15 seconds or so, not much more than that. Keep watching until he gets up and then you're done.)

Overall, the Stranger is a very complete package. His opponents will struggle very hard to defeat him - Knuckles in the MEC is the best bet, but the problem is that The Stranger deals with multiple foes like him or better (just look at the first vid), and that's merely a mid tier MEC suit. If it was stronger, it'd be a different story, but as is, his enemies cannot stop him from beating them all, one by one.
