| Wanglicious 06/30/17 5:28:36 PM #25: | looking at the vids... stranger's big thing seems to be medium range gunning and quick melee, mixed with teleport dashes and all. speed-wise he doesn't seem to be that impressive if you go into higher tier stuff. like yeah, that constant running speed is great and he's got quicker reflexes too obviously but... so are plenty others. sonic sustains over 20x that no problem. and sure, "that's sonic," but go down the chain of people you think can tag someone that slow. and then the thing on durability is yeah, that's all gameplay. canonically, why should anyone believe he got hit in the first place? honestly not sure what the complaint is on stranger looking that impressive - he doesn't. and kan's hype game ain't even crazy either. presentation of the dude seems fine, even including that there's few feats to work with. hell, "he beat a time stopper" isn't some sort of unique thing that's happened in gaming, it's a nice notch under the belt but it doesn't help much to explaining how. just is a cool feat to have. like really all i'm wondering is if this guy is basically the ninja between Strider and Ryu that was missing. doesn't seem like he hits even Raiden turf. --- "Maybe it's a tentacle, molesting the planet itself. - Aschen Brodel. ...
