People hype him up to be some sort of monster here, but I can't recall the specifics. Anyway not sure I can vote BUT AS REQUESTED. The Frozen Throne is the heart of the Lich King's power, this area being where the helm of domination was incased for years. The Lich King could control a vast army of minions thousands of miles away, and the closer minions got to this area the stronger his control of them became. Basically think of this place as the nexus of all of his powers, where he is most in touch with every ability he has. Like it is easier to weaken him in holy ground, this is tainted ground. Basically it isn't a stat % boost, but the lore is very clear that the Lich King is frightening on his throne compared to everywhere else, and this was displayed when he literally won his raid boss fight before The Light (tm) was like "no fuck you" --- Sir Chris The Cult of Personality ...
