One example, gay/lesbian was very frowned upon in the past, but today everyone not on the accepting side is considered weird at the very least Only in bubbled parts of the world where human rights are protected for LGBT people and they're not immediately treated as second class citizens or abominations in society. That's actually not the case in the majority of the planet's nations. If you were just talking about some place like the US, then you would be correct.
