I can't really tell if its a turn based tactical RPG like the GBA games, or if this DS title uses a realtime action RPG battle system though... the two OG Saga games are timing/combo-centric RPG, very similar to Project X Zone if you've ever played it (in fact, there's some universe crossover between them) PXZ also uses some SRPG elements inspired by SRW for the map stuff though any other SRW games you run into are all turn based strategy games, similar kind of to Fire Emblem (SRW is more forgiving of deaths than FE, but SRW is probably tougher in general). the only other oddity is one fighting game they made for the PS3 I know one SRW game on the 3DS has Demonbane in it...
