So, why is this a bad thing? I get Alpha getting screwed over by circumstances and booking, but would the reaction be better if it was Gable instead? I'm willing to get this a bit of a chance, because Angle's name value rides on this. They are probably not going to quickly scuttle this like a Darren Young situation.

This could end up really dumb because lolVince and Raw. However, it's better they push someone who isn't a McMahon for a change.

This is not a bad or good thing yet. It felt a little weak because they did nothing except announce it (despite saying it could threaten Kurt's career and making it a way bigger deal than it ended up seeming like) and now the storyline is in limbo till they do something else with it. But whether this is good or bad depends on where it goes.

American Alpha breaking up does kinda suck and of course that's unfortunate because they've already broken up so many teams (and they were good). But whatever, WWE wasn't doing much with them anyway. Honestly I didn't care who the storyline ended up being about, I just hoped they would deliver on it. Right now, I'm not sold on it.
