Either way, not knowing mainstream artists seems to be some sort of prideful statement for you and it's embarrassing.

Or I simply don't listen to the radio at all.

Nor do any of the stories I look up have ANYTHING to do with music or the entertainment industry in general.

I recognized the dude from somewhere but i certainly had no idea he was a singer or could put a name to his face...
