| eating4fun 07/19/17 1:26:15 AM #268: | So I read one chapter of Promised Neverland months ago, and I thought it was alright. The premise was slow to build and it didn't sell very well to me, which is unfair to a series because premise is towards the bottom of the list in what makes something good. I've read to chapter 24 now, and it is quite good. The plot is slow, but that never matters if there's something of substance filling the gap. Here, it's with proper game theory intrigue, which is exceptional and seems to be the core appeal of the series. I haven't seen Death Note or No Game No Life, which I've heard is mostly about game theory? So personally, I haven't seen anything of this sort. I thought this season's anime Kakegurui was going to be about game theory, but It's not and I think it has some loose similarities to Jojo (in-universe logical, cool absurdity).. --- Your palace may last forever, but my yurt can go anywhere. ...
