| OlorinTheOtaku 07/19/17 11:53:23 PM #277: | Yeah, the lack of spaces are a pain... What I did is, play Pokemon & Zelda in Japanese with my JED Japanese dictionary app open on my tablet. That way I could look up words I don't know immediately. Also, Pokemon emerald on GBA doesn't use Kanji & they put spaces between the words (So that little kids can play it) so its a really good way to familiarize yourself with Hiragana & Katakana & increase your vocabulary. If I can just memorize the Katakana "Alphabet" I could already read a majority of Japanese, since Katakana is just English words written like a Japanese word. It should only take a week or 2 to memorize em but my ADHD ass always gets distracted... Im pretty determined this time though, there's just far to many great Japanese only games out there to pass up.
