I have huge hands and feet, but am just a bit over averaged sized. I often comment on my huge hands (as I can't fit them into gloves, even the plastic hospital/food prep gloves), and you would be amazed how many times someone (of either gender) comments on a relationship between hand/foot size and other body parts size. I have always found it a bit rude, I really don't want to talk to random people about that stuff lol. And yes, I should just not bring the topic up...but I don't remember where it leads and much like I post stream of conciousness, I also talk that way.
