As I said, I found Koe no Katachi to be the better movie. I agree with both sentiment. Kimi no na wa's characters and plots are shallow, but it's still a cinematic masterpiece. It's no so much amnesia or time travel; They don't retain their experiences because it just felt like a dream to them.
