McCain made a spectacle out of his voting. He said he was planning to vote but refused to tell people how he was going to vote, and was all "you'll have to wait and see." and literally made everyone else vote before him so that he was the last one to vote. The result of this was a 49-50 Split and Mike Pence was literally already on his way to deliver the tie-breaking vote that never happened. So the short answer is yeah, McCain pretty much did put on a cowboy hat and walked into a bar and shot it up in terms of showmanship. That's why everyone is talking about it. --- ...
