the premise of the study is entirely wrong. People never doubt the citizenship of Asian americans. hispanics on the other hand...

Are you serious

Wtf?

Anecdotal, but several people call me Chinese or foreign or etc just seeing me on campus not even listening to me speak or trying to talk to me.

Plus the Asian woman who was almost hit by a car and the driver (some black girl) screamed "go back to your country"

What? They just walk up to you and say "hey chinese"

No.

Makes sense wth the way I'm treated in campus as a petite Asian American who is made fun of and called Japanese or asked to read in random languages, or people make random noises st me saying it's Chinese, or people saying I can't understand them when they talk in English, or people trying to talk about any random anime with me.

I'm Chinese and Vietnamese heritage. Born and raised in USA and if you talk to me, I have a southern drawl I sound white except for a high pitched voice.

Oh but it isn't racist according to the Dean
