I will say, I was shocked when I saw the lack of knowledge on this similar subject from some of my high school peers.
It was usually stuff I overheard%u200B. I remember one instances where this girl was trying to figure out the background of these two girls.

"I think she's Korean and she's Asian."

Yeah, there's innocent bits of prejudice like "You speak pretty good English" to an Asian who was born and raised in the country, and then there's an outright ignorance that involves insane shit like not knowing the difference between North and South Korea.

Sometimes they'll turn to me and be like, "Kitt, can you tell?" That got annoying sometimes. More often than not, it was a Vietnamese kid, which I am not.
