That is not as big a deal as a woman having her clitoris removed. If male circumcision involved cutting out the glans on the tip of the penis, or cutting the knob right off, you'd be getting somewhere - getting rid of a single flap of skin on top is not equivalent to how much of a girl's vagina can get cut out of her during a "female circumcision". This is very true and it is wrong to conflate the two.
