Then our main source of hesitancy in retaliation (hitting SK with the fallout) would be removed from the equation. It could still be an effective deterrent to nuclear strike if it were enough to ensure total destruction. No matter how fast we hit there's going to be significant damage, and they're likely to be prepared to launch the nuclear missile at any point, from anywhere (if they have it, we won't know where it is) it's one chance but i mean... barring an actual black ops operation into one of the most heavily surveiled ares of the world, killing the government, several military leaders, disabling military installations and a full on siege by the US military... i mean, if we're prepared at all for a violent solution... diplomacy usually figures these things out --- im a good person ...
