First album is like completely pop punk while Deja started branching out but is still fairly rooted in it. I love both albums dearly and grew up with them but it's not everyone's cup of tea. The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me are where they really started to go for the experimental rock sort of thing. So you MIGHT be better off there but you can try Deja if you're curious, still a great great album. --- Lord have mercy on my soul, I've had a good run but I can't run anymore.
