Some shows have done this particularly well with ~~Boon~~ in Justified and the ~~Nazis~~ in Breaking Bad. I've been trying to think of why those examples work so much better than what we are getting with Euron who has been good for the most part but could have been great. I think it really just boils down to the quality of the writing but I can't quite put my finger on why that's the case.
