Topic	In a conflict against Eldritch Abominations, do you prefer the humans to win?

The humans not only win, but most of the characters make it through the conflict no worse for wear, and are able to happily continue their lives afterwards. The humans win, but they suffer heavy losses on their side, and will be feeling the effects in one way or another from the conflict for years to come, if not for the rest of their lives. No matter how hard they fought, in the end, the humans and/or the forces of Earth are defeated, as mere humans cannot stand up against such powerful cosmic entities. --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. <cite>Solar_Crimson posted [p:963755879] in In a confl...
