The best way to survive on GameFAQs is to never talk politics or religion, never reply to someone trying to argue with you or bait you, and only be positive. To be honest, if people stuck to the first part of that, the site would be about 1000x better. The downside is that those sorts of topics and posts are basically becoming ubiquitous as most of the worthwhile users leave, so it just makes the whole site worse by proxy. I've said for a while now there should be a hard ban on political topics, posts, and discussions on this video game message board.
