Nearly every song people today listen to on a regular basis cost money to produce, and almost certainly cost money vis-a-vis distribution.

And that's before we get into even murkier discussions about whether or not music made via an instrument is technically "free" because you had to pay for the instrument in the first place, or if recorded music is free because you technically had to pay for the recording media, if things posted on YouTube would count because they cost bandwidth (and somebody has to pay the bills), etc.

But yeah, sure, if the only music you listen to is from your own whistling, or you're just banging two rocks together, that's free.

no you can go to places where people just play music out in the open. Actual quality music with heart and soul. Practically anywhere in the world you can find this.

where do they not have music freely available and how do we get it to them
