Would you prefer that your doctor didn't advise you according to the best available data on the benefits and risks of a given medical treatment? It's probably not a bad idea to book an appointment to investigate the possibility of an allergy or other exacerbating factor and/or see if anything can be done to treat your symptoms, but your personal experience doesn't change the conclusion that any sensible risk analysis would yield (that getting the booster is better than not).
