First, she's a woman. Second, she's actually had an abortion. I don't agree with her opinion, but I do think PO is right that those two facts actually lend some credibility to her opinion that I think is stupid. If we aren't listening to women who have been in this position who do we listen to? Just because you don't agree with her doesn't mean her experience should be ignored.

Sure, let's go with this logic.
In that case, we should give the most deference to abortion providers. They've had experience with dozens or even hundreds of abortions. Clearly they have the most expertise on this matter, so we should set abortion policy based upon their recommendations.
Just because you disagree with them doesn't mean their experience should be ignored.

Once again never mind that the experience was so traumatic for her that she went back and did it again. Or that she's so proud to tout her own personal experience on the matter as guiding her policy that she....hid it until journalists uncovered it.
