And who knows, knowing Japanese could help even a little bit with job opportunities. I have been a bit interested in drawing comics, but my art skill isn't up to snuff, so that's more a pipe dream as it stands. Not likely to move over there or anything, I don't think I'd be able to fit in. I'm not starting on kanji quite yet. Right now I'm having trouble recognizing different Hiragana when the font is different than I'm used to, or even if the text is very small.
