I agree men don't HAVE to sacrifice themselves. But this pushback where men aren't even entertaining it because they're mad at some women that expect it, it's also wild.

Maybe Im just trained, but I feel protective over women as a whole just because I can afford to not be targeted as much. I don't see it as sexism when they want more protection than men. In this specific case tho, it's pretty ridiculous to expect a guy who barely knows you to just sacrifice being there for his family for the rest of his life just cause you're a woman and he's a man. For all we know, the guy is a super positive on the world and the woman is a super negative. That would mean we lost someone who would go on to inspire others for someone who will just go on to destroy whatever they come in contact with. We just can't know.
