| Robot2600 07/25/22 11:27:26 AM #39: | As others have said, launching trash into space is too dangerous. We could, however, build a space elevator, and get trash into space pretty easily. Nuclear waste is just radioactive salt/water/mud. It's unlikely we could recycle or reuse it. It's not like it has little bits of uranium in it that we could refine, or anything like that. It's not glowing goo that we could turn into a power sources for mech suits. Best thing to do is what we already do: store it in a warehouse in the desert. edit: eventually (i.e. longer than your lifespan) it stops being radioactive and will just be saltwatermud again. --- gamefaqs.gamespot.gamestop.com ...
