But you can still play DMC 5 and keep up. You will be able to piece together what you get from DMC 5. It's not like what you are missing is convoluted. Whatever you put together and whatever is obviously not explained is what you are missing from DMC 4. And it's as straight forward as it gets. They make no attempt to hide anything. Essentially if you play DMC 5 you can figure out the story and through this you can figure out what was told in the story of DMC 4. Fluck the remake. It can go die in hell. It has literally nothing to do with the main line series.
