I soak in seasoned buttermilk for about a day, then I drain the excess off with a cooling rack, dip it in seasoned flour, to an egg wash, and then to a panko crust.

I have tried both whole eggs and just yolks. Today was whole as I didnt feel like separating them.

I'm sorry, but you go to that much trouble for the chicken but then skimp on then potatoes, monstrous.

Granted the weather and availability has left me cooking with premade potato patties recently.
