It's big, but it seems to also talk about the culture, religion, and stuff of the Achaeamenid Empire.
It's funny, the book about Sumeria I read ended with Cyrus conquering Babylon, because that was the end of their independence and beginning of their terminal decline, because the Ancient Persians wanted to rule from their own cities. Babylon's last chance was Alexander, ironically enough, but he died before he could attempt any of his insane construction projects.
