It reminds me of those year to year/month to month comparison charts where the economy was up like 50% or soemthing during the Covid months and pointing at that and going "SEE? INSANE GROWTH!" while ignoring you're still down 20% overall. It'd be like getting blown out 23-0 in a soccer game and in the final seconds, scoring your first goal and going "See?
