Yes. I was forced to pray a rosary every night and go to church on Sunday (and sometimes randomly throughout the week for bonus Jesus points, or whatever). I always hated every second of it (I've always wondered why some kids buy into religious garbage so enthusiastically while others just naturally revile it).

My parents only let me watch boring religious shows until I got old enough to exert enough independence to make them lighten up (though I still ended up getting exposed to most of nostalgic childhood memories at my friends' houses...I would ride my bike around the neighborhood and make friends with random kids and play their video games and stuff).
