The base game plus the Mines of Moria, Siege of Mirkwood, Rise of Isengard, Riders of Rohan and Helm's Deep expansions are all free now. I don't think any of the content between Helm's Deep and Mordor was part of an expansion so you can get all that free with the promo code in the first post. There's some F2P limitations on stable master travel and some other stuff though I think. And they get mounts later than subscriber characters.
