Umi Control. I can beat everything else, but it's just these two decks in particular that are causing me trouble.

Honestly Umi dies real hard to the standard suite of handtraps and board-breakers. (Also for the event, it has a terrible matchup against Sky Strikers so you'll probably see it less as you continue to climb).

Ashing Kairyu is an underrated move because while the deck has plenty of ways to get to its monsters and Umi, Kai is the only way to guarantee the big dick cards of Dark Reef and Sea Stealth Attack. Without those the deck is praying you can't play through a single negate (and Jellyfish can't even stop traps lol Imperm)

If your opening hand doesn't look like it can play through Kairyu's floodgate and you want to stop him from hitting the field, hit Fish Sonar, the Ice Barrier trap, or normal summoned Jellyfish.

Running over Jellyfish in the battle phase should also be considered because it will force them to banish Kai if you've got any other negates/destruction, which frees you from the floodgate for a turn and lets you set up. The main risks here are Doom Kraken (usually a one-of so not a huge threat) and Sea Stealth 2, which can summon Fortress Whale from the hand during the battle phase (also a one-of, so again, not a huge threat unless you know they searched it.)
