I'm a big fan of Nina Simone and really want to see her get a week, but have no idea what album to nominate. Leaning toward Pastel Blues but could also see arguments for Little Girl Blue, Nina Simone Sings the Blues, I Put a Spell on You, or High Priestess of Soul I very nearly nominated Pastel Blues (the only Simone album I know well) as one of my three! I only steered away from it because I thought a vocal jazz album would win easily against instrumental stuff.
