I've had a moderator say that every single Republican is a bad person and that voting in ignorance makes you as bad of a person as if you voted in malice. On the whole though, I think they collectively do a good job. It is difficult to remain "unbiased" when one political party is literally devolving into a white supremacist party. What do you do in that situation? You can't say, "agree to disagree," or opt to respect someone else's views when their views are bigoted or oppressive. To generalize everyone though is pretty stupid. If ignorance makes you a bad person, there isn't a good person in the world. You know less about the world and the consequences of your actions than you think you do. To someone who doesn't have so much as a college education, it's easy to be misled by propaganda. Every offense from the other party is a sign that they're corrupt. Every offense from your party is an exception to the rule or a lie made up by the opposition. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
