I'm so dang tired of not playing dnd! Scheduling is the hardest part so if we stick to people who routinely have weekends free the chance of success might be higher?

I could DM. I've done it a few times so am by no means seasoned but I think it could be a fun time! I have The Lost Mine of Phandelver module and am familiar with it so if I were to DM that'd be the adventure. It's pretty basic and beginner friendly, which is what the campaign would be. The general tone I would strive for is laid back but also firm on rules. They are there for a reason and help facilitate the fun! But rule of cool is also a thing! And is very much at the DM's discretion.

Ideal party size would be 4-6. No more than 6, sorry. And I'd say no fewer than 3. R rating for language and violence, potentially.

Welcome to new or grizzled players. If someone else feels strong about being DM that's fine with me.

No class or race restrictions (except they have to be official content) but the world may react appropriately to a particularly exotic race.

I'm also flexible with character creation in that I'm a fan of 4d6 drop the lowest reroll 1s. Good stats never hurt anybody. Also open to a free feat at level 1, because fun.

I don't expect this topic to go anywhere but I've got to try ._.
