Ah I see. I'm not sure I'd like it much, then, because I've tried to play a bit of Pathfinder Kingmaker the video game and it's too crunchy for me. Not past the point of understanding, but past the point of caring. Just seems a tad tedious to me, unless everyone is 100% on top of their shit and knows how to play the game. Which seems like a rare party.
Frankly Kingmaker is more annoying than normal on that front. Yeah it's just the base game and whatnot, but when you are actually playing the game it's a load easier to actually play due to mental shortcuts. It's one of those things that just doesn't come out well there at all. In addition it "grows" as you get more in-depth but with the video game it is expected that everything always be present. Then you have the fact DM descretion is big in the real game versus it not being possible to do in a video game. Things like house rules, such as critical fumbles, just can't exist in a video game like they can in P&P.

Basically as someone who as played a *lot* of Pathfinder I am 100% with you on your Kingmaker comments. Pathfinder the actual game is a far easier and more approachable game than that. Trust me there.
