It's also the Original Version because they had to re-release subtracting all uses of Psy's "Gentleman" and it hurt the flow of the mix.

I did think about trying to find the re-release to compare them, but since no one seemed to like the change it felt like it'd be a bit of a waste of time.

(First Reaction: It's not the best invincibility theme in the Mario series, much less in all of gaming, but it's alright? A bit too subdued and relaxed for ULTIMATE POWER, but it's a bit of an interesting spin on the classic Starman theme.)

I didn't realize the song was remade to create the Wing Cap music from Mario 64. That's neat. I think it probably works better as a "flying" theme than an "invincibility" theme, but I don't really judge based on such things anyway.

...I like Yoshi's Island and Mario 64 well enough, but I can't say I have any particularly memorable experiences with the game or any real nostalgia for them. Just some good games I played before. Which is boring, even by "blatantly rambling for the sake of making the writeup longer" standards. But that's about all I have here; song is kinda tropical, kinda relaxing, and kinda flight-y but it doesn't really nail any of those vibes & is just mildly interesting for its less-than-a-minute runtime. It's fine, but not super remarkable.

[Final Thoughts: Not one of my favorite invincibility themes (not that I can really think of what my favorite would be), but it gets the job done and conveys some feelings even in its brief runtime. It's nice enough.]

Which... eh, fine, I suppose I can imagine a scenario in which I'd find a song with just screaming to be helpful? It's the type of song that could be the perfect accompaniment to certain emotional states or trauma, so it definitely has value and I should make a note of it somewhere just in case. But it's still just two minutes of intense metal music and screaming, so it's not exactly something I'd want to listen to on a regular basis, and there's really not a lot here to discuss.

[Final Thoughts: I mean, I've heard worse songs that consisted of nothing but screaming.]

But at the end of the day, it's still a fairly tame death metal parody that's literally just screaming for two minutes. Kinda cute and kinda funny, and I do occasionally enjoy just screaming, but I don't think I'll be giving this one any extra points.]
