(First Reaction: An overly thumping, head banging, battle theme... but you know, this is okay. It's got this "techno future wizardry *bzzt bzzt*" type quality that makes up for it.)

I wish I knew what I was getting from this song the first time around, because right now this sounds like one of the most THUMP-THUMP-THUMP-ing songs of the entire ranking and that's... still something I have to be in a specific mood for to enjoy and whatever "buzzing wizards of the future" traits I thought existed here (and whatever that even meant) isn't really coming through today. I can't say I dislike it--at least trying to figure out what past me was babbling about is amusing--but this isn't my genre and I can't get past the beat to try enjoying it.

[Final Thoughts: I still don't know what I meant with that first reaction, but I'm in something resembling a battle theme mood right now, so this is pretty decent.]

(First Reaction: Jovial tune, though this still isn't one of my top genres.)

A short little tune that brings to mind blimps slowly floating through the sky. It's fine, but perhaps a bit too... something-or-other. I was going to say "slow", but I like plenty of slow songs and fail to see how that could really be the answer. I suppose it's not the speed, but how almost bland the images feel? It's like it conjures some interesting imagery, but the song doesn't feel excited about it. And the lack of excitement, by itself, is fine--you can show the beauty of a peaceful day or whatever--but the song feels utterly bland and devoid of interest in its own subject matter. I don't feel passion. It's like some guy saying "here's some blimps or whatever,'" before wandering off to smoke behind the tent because he can't be bothered to care about his job or anything that's happening.

...still, points for conveying an image of some sort.

[Final Thoughts: Short, happy blimp and/or hot air balloon tune. It's nice enough.]
