So far I just bought a pair of Switch games (the Capcom fighting collection and the Cowabunga Collection) for $25 each. Probably should just buy them on Steam, but... idk.

Granted, I'm also not sure when I'll actually play them, but I want to make more of an effort.

Nothing. Because if I would only buy an item if it was on sale, then I don't need it.

I'm not sure if that was an intentionally stupid remark or an unintentionally stupid remark, although it was a stupid remark all the same. If you have the choice of paying more for something vs less -- when everything else is equal -- what benefit is there to the paying more?

And most things people buy on Black Friday, etc, aren't what anybody needs. They're just wants. And most things are zero urgency. A lot of games I pick up generally aren't even played within the same year (and it's the same for a lot of entertainment).
