(First Reaction: Overly dramatic beeping isn't much of a song and it's too short to really inspire dread. An extended version might score higher as I could at least experience the feelings of terror...)

Very dramatic and I like the tense feeling it conveys, but it's just too short to properly enjoy. Also, I don't really have any nostalgia for 24 itself... the first season was alright, but I felt it didn't need more than one season and never felt a need to see any continuations or rewatch the first season.

[Final Thoughts: This still has a nice, tense feeling to it... but I'm dropping it back down to its Initial Score because four seconds of beeping just isn't enough to get 51+ points. It's pretty good for something so short, it just really needs to have more to it.]

(First Reaction: I can't tell if these are lyrics or gibberish, but it's kinda interesting? I think it'd be hilarious hearing something this metal coming from a Mario game, but I'm not really seeing this as a song that stands on its own without the added context or unexpected nature of it.)

It's a fun concept for a song, but I typically need some type of attachment to the lyrics or story of these types of metal songs to get invested in them. Since no one can even agree if there are lyrics, that's just not going to happen on this track. I can imagine it being shocking to hear in context, very 'whoa, I can't believe a song like this is in a Mario game exclamation point exclamation point one one exclamation point' and what not, but removing this song from that context & entering it into a contest where it's directly competing against metal songs that I DO get emotionally invested & attached to results in this feeling like a song that--to quote Johnny Turbo--DOESN'T EVEN COMPARE!!

...Yes, yes I do occasionally quote Johnny Turbo in real life, thank you for asking.

[Final Thoughts: It's mildly amusing, but not really something I'm likely to go back to. Also, I'd love to spend all day talking about Johnny Turbo [#1 superhero of all time, don't @ me[, but I suppose it's not really worth taking that particular detour.]
