It's the only console to get 2 original 3d Mario games, although many would consider the DS/Wii as one generation of Nintendo and the 3DS and Wii U as another generation. If you do it by that, the DS/Wii had 3 (if you include 64 DS since that was a pretty unique remake) and the 3DS/Wii U had 2 (3D Land and its sequel: 3D World).
