| --Zero- 12/14/22 7:13:15 PM #1: | A beloved franchise of books that have spawned video games, an amusement park, studio tours, movies, toys, and many other various forms of merchandise. Controversial because of the authors Twitter posts which leads to questioning their views on the Trans community. Its a mega franchise where many businesses have their hands in the cookie jar even though its tainted. Some people boycott the franchise and its legacy because of the author and while people do understand why, no one wants to address it. There is little to no chance J.K. Rowling would ever sell the rights either. Does that mean everything should be erased because the author will get paid? Rowling isnt involved with the series anymore and hasnt been for a long time, but she still owns the rights and is able to bank off it.
