It would make sense for it to be destroyed if it was also the first card that you had played, but if you put a 1 or 2 drop there to get destroyed and then you play green goblin on 3, it should stay on their side. It wasnt played there, it was played on your side and then the On Reveal effect moved it.

its also inconsistent with how Goblins work at Bar Sinister. If you play one there, it moves to the other side, and then your side fills up with goblins (because thats where it was played), and as many of them as can fit will move over to the other side as well. If both sides were empty, this usually means you get stuck with one goblin still on your side.
